Our CEO, Nitin Gupta, is a second generation serial entrepreneur and has a rich academic background and work experience covering India and UK. Nitin did his Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University and then did his Master in Business Administration from the United Kingdom. Post completion of his MBA, Nitin spent a few years in the United Kingdom to gain experience by working in multiple companies. But his final calling was to establish his own business and he returned to India. He spent the next few years exporting specialized custom made natural stone products for high end resorts, hotels and projects across the globe. But he also wanted to focus on the environment and green energy. Using his background as an Engineer and his industry experience of over two decades, he founded GSOL Solar Technology in 2020 with the sole aim of helping accelerate the reach and penetration of solar generated power. “After studying the industry and speaking to existing players, I quickly realized that we needed someone who can bring in certified & quality products at reasonable price” says Nitin. Under his leadership, in a short period of time, GSOL is now a well known supplier trusted by over hundreds of small, medium and large EPC players across the country.
Mr. Gupta is our chairman and a mechanical engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, batch 1927. He started his professional journey way back in 1970 by starting India’s first tungsten filament manufacturing plant. After running the same for over 3 decades, he started a new venture which specialized in exporting custom made natural stone products. He strongly believes in providing quality products and services to his customers at all costs.
